Well Sean, this is a great idea! As I told you yesterday on the phone I believe that this is a wonderful thing. It is no longer an idea, it is reality. From what I have seen you are going no where but forward with this site. I believe that if it is something wonderful, educational, and will help in our line of work so I'll try to promote the heck out of it. That is exactly what I plan on doing! I will be keeping in touch with you. |

To answer the previous question posted by RF, currently people CAN add reviews to profiles for others to see, however we have so far limited it to just comments as opposed to assigning a number such as 9 out of 10 etc. We can add something like that at a later date, for now our goal is to promote the site and get everyone using and knowing about it. We appreciate all the help you can give us spreading the word about www.wheresmystylist.com |

Hi. I'm considering becoming a hairstylist. I'm in Calgary, and would like to communicate with any pros in the area, especially considering what school to go to. My e-mail is neila1985@hotmail.com, and I'd love to hear from you. |

EVERY SALON I HAVE WORKED FOR HAS MADE ME SIGN A " NO COMPETE CONTRACT"& I HAVE HAD ZERO ACCESS TO THE CLIENTS THAT I HAVE PERSONALLY BROUGHT INTO THE SALON;WHICH HAS BEEN PRETTY MUCH EVERY CLIENT THAT I HAVE HAD IN MY CHAIR. I WAS ACTUALLY QUESTIONED, THEN FIRED FOR PUTTING A CLIENTS PHONE NUMBER AND E-MAIL ADDRESS INTO MY MOBILE PHONE...THE CLIENT WAS ACTUALLY MY SISTER, WE LOOK NOTHING ALIKE, BUT I DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO POINT THAT MINOR DETAIL OUT WHEN I GOT PULLED INTO SALON OWNERS OFFICE FOR BEING "SNEAKY" AND "SUSPICIOUS"!!! I NOW HAVE A GREAT SOURCE TO USE TO KEEP MY CLIENTS AWARE OF WHERE I AM AND WHERE I MAY BE NEXT,EVEN MY SISTER...THANKS! |

What a fantastic idea this website is!
I lost my stylist about a month ago. Went to make an appointment and the place was locked up. Took me forever to find someone that I loved and now she's gone. If anyone's seen or heard from Alicia (Rockstar Hair / Calgary, AB) ... I want her back!!! |

Regarding the previous post, our domain cost with hosting is a few hundred dollars a year and we sell premium listings to salons to generate revenue. WE never plan on charging stylists for the service, were here to help the industry.
I hope that answered your question, take care.

If you don't charge any fee from the stylist or salon, who is paying the cost to maintain the website? Someone needs to pay something, isn't it? I'm just curious who is paying for this domain name? |

What a fantastic idea! I'm telling all the stylists I know!
Thanks! |
